Medibank is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer - Mobile to lead iOS development and shape the future of our digital health platforms. You will be a technical leader, driving initiatives that create seamless, human-centered digital experiences for millions of Australians. What You'll Do
- Lead iOS development and contribute to Android development where required.
- Deliver high-quality, scalable solutions on time and within budget.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
- Own development initiatives for the iOS platform and contribute to technical mastery through practices like Guilds and code reviews.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and champion engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Business Analysts, and DevOps to ensure seamless delivery.
- Support testing activities and maintain clear documentation.
- Drive end-to-end initiatives autonomously and step up to lead when senior leadership is unavailable.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and actively contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.
What We're Looking For
- iOS expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Accessibility.
- Strong knowledge of architecture patterns like MVVM, MVVM-C, MVP, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with XCUITest and Unit Testing.
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and Fastlane, and static code analysis tools like SwiftLint, SonarQube, and GitHub Advanced Security.
- Familiarity with Crashlytics or equivalent crash reporting tools.
- Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) and proficiency with tools like Miro, Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience with API integration (REST/GraphQL), trunk-based development, and feature toggle tools like Optimizely.
- Understanding of security best practices and vulnerability management.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Basic Android knowledge with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
