Jobgether is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer (BE-focus) to join our dynamic engineering team. You will deliver high-performance, scalable software solutions for a user-facing platform with complex data models and large datasets, while mentoring teammates.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain backend-focused full-stack applications with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: solution design, system architecture, coding, testing, code reviews, deployment, and monitoring.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality functionality.
Write tests and maintain code quality to ensure reliability before merging and releasing.
Mentor team members on performance optimization, database design, and coding best practices.
Monitor application performance, diagnose issues, and implement fixes proactively.
Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and application architecture.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, and PostgreSQL or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of backend performance optimization and SQL database design.
Experience writing tests and ensuring code quality across the stack.
Ability to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced engineers.

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation range: $125,000–$145,000.
