iesfgroup is looking for a PHP/Symphony Full Stack Developer to build and maintain back-end services and web applications for a major European Institution. This role offers a long-term position within an international, multilingual, and multicultural environment in Brussels, Belgium.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain back-end services and web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework.
- Perform technical analysis, design, testing, documentation, and construction tasks for components compliant with W3C standards.
- Commit to a thorough, methodical approach to both development and testing.
- Contribute to the evolution of the technical architecture currently in use at the Legal Service.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree in IT or a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in IT.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and specifically Symfony.
- Proven experience in developing standard web-based software using an MVC-compliant framework based on a scripting language (e.g., JavaScript (Angular) or Nodejs).
- Proven experience with the range of web technologies used for data and middle-tier layers.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, Angular, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with XML or JSON/REST for handling data flows.
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jira, Git, and Bamboo.
- An excellent command of the English language.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AngularJS would be considered a strong asset.
- Experience with text-mining operations would be considered an asset.
