We're looking for a deeply technical **Senior Frontend Engineer** to own patient & staff web-app UI implementation. **About the Project** Our client is a prominent outpatient behavioral health organization delivering psychiatry, counseling, and interventional services like TMS both in-clinic and via telehealth. They operate multiple locations offering medication management for all ages, evidence-based therapy modalities, and same-day appointment options. Patients use a secure web portal to access health records, message providers, request medication refills, and schedule appointments. New patients can request visits online and receive follow-up within one business day. The staff dashboard must enable clinicians to review patient charts, manage AI-generated notes, and oversee treatment workflows in a HIPAA-compliant environment. **What You'll Do** - **Patient Portal Development:** Implement React.js components for appointment scheduling, provider search, secure messaging, medication refill requests, and telehealth session booking. - **Staff Dashboard Implementation:** Build administrative interfaces for clinicians to view/manage patient records, AI-generated scribe notes, treatment plans, and TMS session tracking. - **AI Agent Integration:** Collaborate with the AI platform to embed features such as automated intake triage and ambient clinical note-taking (AI Receptionist and AI Scribe). - **API Development:** Design and implement Node.js/Express.js endpoints for authentication, patient data CRUD operations, scheduling workflows, and secure data exchange with EHR systems. - **Type Safety & Shared Types:** Define TypeScript interfaces for domain models (Patient, Appointment, Note) and enforce type consistency across front-end and back-end code. - **HIPAA Compliance & Security:** Ensure all web-app features meet HIPAA standards for data encryption, access controls, and audit logging. - **Collaboration & UX:** Work closely with designers to translate Figma prototypes into responsive, accessible React components, and partner with QA to maintain high test coverage. **Qualifications** - **5+ years experience** building production-grade React.js applications. - **5+ years experience** developing RESTful or GraphQL APIs with Node.js/Express.js. - **Strong TypeScript skills**, with understanding of structural type safety and shared type definitions. - **Familiarity with HIPAA** requirements and building secure healthcare applications. - **Experience integrating** third-party authentication (OAuth, SAML) and EHR system APIs. - **Excellent communication** skills and ability to work in a fully remote, cross-functional team. **This is for someone who:** - Loves building from 0 to 1 (and then to 100). - Can think in systems and move fast in chaos. - Gets excited about real AI impact saving lives. - Wants real ownership, is self driven and self-managed. **Why Sully?** 👏 Team from OpenAI, DeepMind, NASA, GoogleX, Tesla, and 2 physicians: 6 exits, 2 IPOs. 🔥 Our model outperforms Claude, Gemini, and GPT-4.5 on clinical benchmarks. 📈 400+ healthcare orgs signed in 16 months. ⚡️ $25M raised from YC, Sequoia scouts, and more. 🌎 $1T+ market opportunity.
