Responsibilities
- Design and execute development of new food products while enhancing current offerings
- Construct small-scale experimental models to test product concepts
- Organize and manage trial production runs in manufacturing settings
- Gather, interpret, and report technical data from experiments and trials
- Establish preliminary product specifications based on development outcomes
- Generate accurate nutritional facts, ingredient lists, and allergen declarations for product labeling
- Supply technical expertise to internal teams and external clients as needed
- Identify and escalate quality or safety concerns to appropriate personnel and adhere to company food safety and quality management systems
- Comply with all applicable safety, manufacturing, and documentation standards

- Adheres to OSHA safety requirements and complies with all relevant food safety laws and regulations
- Follows company-specific protocols including the Food Safety Plan (FSP), Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
