BaubleBar is seeking a proactive and insight-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. You will combine classic financial planning with modern tools to support forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making for our fast-growing brand.
What You'll Do
- Support the development of the annual operating plan, monthly rolling forecasts, and long-range planning.
- Maintain and update dynamic financial models incorporating revenue, margin, expenses, and operational KPIs.
- Leverage historical data and stakeholder inputs to forecast business unit income statements, cash flow, and balance sheet.
- Partner with business stakeholders to plan and track key drivers like product performance, customer behavior, and vendor costs.
- Contribute to scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Analyze month-end financial results and deliver variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior year.
- Maintain and evolve monthly financial reporting packages that communicate key insights, opportunities, and risks.
- Monitor and report on profitability by product category, channel, and customer segment; identify margin leaks and provide recommendations.
- Partner with marketing, merchandising, and operations to evaluate pricing, assortment, and promotional ROI.
- Improve reporting efficiency and accuracy within Finance and support other teams by streamlining recurring deliverables.
- Collaborate with the BI/data team to request and validate new datasets.
- Support special projects and ad hoc analyses to inform key decisions across the business.
- Share best practices in Excel and modeling to help improve data fluency amongst business partners.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or similar analytical roles.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and solid business acumen.
- Comfort working with large datasets and cross-functional stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Exposure to NetSuite, Shopify, or SQL.
- Understanding of unit economics, inventory planning, and gross margin in a retail or DTC environment.
