Scout Motors is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic decision-making across our virtual women's healthcare platform. You will act as a trusted finance thought partner, helping teams understand financials, evaluate trade-offs, and drive sustainable growth through proactive analysis.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends and risks, and proactively surface insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
- Support strategic initiatives such as pricing analysis, provider capacity planning, and business cases.
- Partner closely with operational and clinical leaders to understand business drivers and guide decision-making.
- Work with Accounting on expense management and cash flow planning, and with Human Resources to track and forecast workforce growth.
- Improve financial processes, tools, and reporting efficiency.
- Assist in selecting and implementing an FP&A tool.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent.
- 4-7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically financial partnership with clinical operations teams.
- Prior experience in a startup or PE/VC-backed company.
