PH02 Mondelez Philippines Inc. is looking for an Associate Manager, Shopper Insights (Category Advisor – Albertsons) to serve as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert for the Warehouse categories. In this role, you will provide deep category insights, develop strategic recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and market share for the total Bars, Candy, and Cough portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with buyer and sales teams to develop best-in-class category development strategies based on qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Develop actionable recommendations to accelerate category growth, focusing on trends, assortment, shelving, promotions, pricing, and shopper behaviors.
- Create and analyze planograms to evaluate space-to-sales and offer best-in-class merchandising recommendations.
- Continuously optimize the business by analyzing data, tracking performance, developing category reviews, and utilizing diverse data sources.
- Be an active contributor to joint business planning processes.
- Build and enhance reporting dashboards to drive strategic decisions, streamline data mining, and accelerate insights delivery.
- Manage recurring data reporting and develop key insights by analyzing business performance, promotional activities, and competitive dynamics.
- Be the category thought-leader and advisor for the customer and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry in category management or related fields.
- Proven track record of translating raw data into actionable recommendations and compelling stories.
- Required technical expertise with advanced software skills relevant to shopper research and category management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel less than 25% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of category management practices and best-in-class ways of working with retailers and internal corporate teams.
- Consistent track record of success in creative thinking, project management, functional/technical skills, decision quality, problem solving, and business acumen.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills (written and verbal) with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
- Experience conducting ad-hoc analyses to answer diverse business questions and support strategic decision-making, including participating in joint business planning.
- Proven track record in persuasively influencing, negotiating, and aligning key customers and business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization, with strong project management skills.
- Strong knowledge and usage of market segmentation models.
