Parsons Transportation Group is looking for a Senior Field Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of small-scale projects with minimal oversight. As part of our Federal Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading projects from initial goal definition through to final deliverables, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
What You'll Do
- Manage small projects with minimal support (<$3M)
- Lead Task Order proposals
- Define project goals and devise methods to accomplish them
- Monitor and report to management on project progress including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project schedule
- Establish project budget and monitor progress in meeting budget requirements, tracking project progress with EVM, and certifying CFT monthly for active projects
- Forecast projects and develop ETCs, working with the Project Controller to ensure project forecasts are current and accurate
- Develop project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables
- Create risk registers for both projects and RFPs and track project risks and mitigation measures through the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of related work experience
- 3+ years in a managerial/leadership role at a field site
- Proficient in MS Project
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Ability to guide and motivate others
- Advanced interpersonal and collaboration skills
