What You'll Do
Guide a team of eight or more engineers by fostering technical excellence and professional growth. Drive architectural decisions and ensure systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term objectives. Work closely with product and engineering leaders to shape solutions that support mission-critical digital offerings.
Lead regular technical reviews, mentor engineers through one-on-ones, and support performance development. Promote best practices across the engineering organization by collaborating with peers to refine processes, tools, and system design. Ensure team assignments balance delivery needs with opportunities for skill development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of experience as a software engineer and at least three years in an engineering management role
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS
- Hands-on coding experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Python, or similar technologies
- Skill in translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences including product, business, and engineering teams
- Experience mentoring and managing engineers, providing feedback, and guiding career growth
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous learning mindset
- Bachelor’s degree required
