Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams focused on user acquisition and product adoption
- Collaborate with product and design to define roadmaps that drive measurable growth metrics
- Develop engineering talent through coaching, career development, and performance feedback
- Set technical direction for scalable, reliable systems that support rapid experimentation
- Partner with data science to integrate insights into product development cycles
- Drive engineering best practices including code quality, observability, and incident response
- Manage delivery of complex technical projects across distributed systems
- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and customer-centric problem solving
- Recruit and hire software engineers to grow and diversify the team
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development velocity and system performance
- Align engineering efforts with company-wide growth objectives
- Communicate technical progress and challenges to cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and reliability standards
- Promote inclusive team practices and psychological safety
- Balance short-term growth experiments with long-term technical sustainability
