Aledade is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager - Backend to lead a team responsible for developing and scaling our core backend services. You will manage a team of engineers, guide technical architecture, and collaborate across functions to deliver on our mission.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team of backend engineers, providing mentorship and career development
- Drive technical strategy and architecture for scalable, reliable backend systems
- Own the delivery of critical projects, ensuring high-quality and timely outcomes
- Collaborate with product and other engineering leaders to define roadmaps and priorities
- Establish and promote engineering best practices for development, testing, and operations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience directly managing software engineering teams
- Proven track record of leading backend teams in building and operating high-scale distributed systems
- Strong background in backend engineering with expertise in system design and architecture
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
