Greenlight Financial Technology is hiring a Senior Engineer, Production Operations to safeguard the reliability, performance, and security of our financial technology platform. You will be instrumental in maintaining system stability and driving improvements that directly impact our users.
What You'll Do
- Monitor, triage, and resolve production incidents to maintain system uptime and performance.
- Design and implement automated tooling and processes for deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and lead the implementation of preventive measures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system architecture for resilience and scalability.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, metrics, and dashboards.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in production operations, site reliability engineering, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems in a high-availability environment.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization, and orchestration tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Go, or Shell.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating during incidents and documenting processes.
