Alcon is looking for a Senior Engineer – Optical Fiber Manufacturing and Processes to join our Research & Development team. You will be trusted to work on products that help revolutionize eye care, advance patient outcomes, and help people see brilliantly.
What You'll Do
- Support the installation and commissioning of an advanced optical fiber production facility.
- Partner with contractors and vendors to customize and procure equipment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of next-generation optical fiber technologies and production processes.
- Recommend and apply effective engineering solutions independently to ensure operational efficiency and innovation.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs).
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in fiber optic technologies, including fabrication methods and precision termination techniques.
- Practical experience with chemical processes and laboratory operations.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of CAD software for design and engineering applications.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $90,750.00 - $151,250.00
