The Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer leads advanced engineering initiatives in aerospace electric power applications, overseeing the full design lifecycle from concept to production and service. This role emphasizes technical leadership, project planning, and coordination across engineering disciplines and global teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee engineering projects from initial concept through final delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive project plans.
- Provide expert technical guidance to solve complex engineering problems.
- Develop and manage project schedules and key milestones.
- Estimate and control project costs throughout the lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Serve as the primary engineering liaison between suppliers and customers.
- Partner with functional leaders to align resources and achieve project goals.
- Monitor and manage subcontractor performance, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Coordinate the assembly, build, and testing of engineering hardware prototypes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a Project Engineering role.
- Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) security clearance is mandatory.
