Role Overview

You will apply advanced technical knowledge to design, model, and analyze electrical systems in response to growing demand, electrification trends, distributed energy integration, and climate resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical assessments and strategic planning for transmission and distribution systems
  • Develop and simulate electrical system models to evaluate performance under various operational scenarios
  • Deliver data-driven insights through detailed reporting and analysis to support decision-making
  • Advise clients and stakeholders on engineering solutions that align with regulatory standards and project objectives
  • Manage high-impact projects from concept through execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering approaches across energy initiatives
  • Contribute to proposal development, technical documentation, and project deliverables
  • Stay current with advancements in utility technologies and evolving industry challenges

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer with focus on power systems and modeling
  • Strong background in transmission and distribution planning, and generation interconnection processes
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting electrical system models
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges
  • Experience analyzing interdependent electrical and mechanical systems
  • Track record of delivering comprehensive technical reports based on simulation outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct involvement in energy transition programs and sustainability-driven infrastructure projects
  • Experience with load forecasting and long-term grid planning under variable demand conditions
  • Understanding of how distributed energy resources, climate factors, and electrification trends affect grid stability and capacity
