Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design efforts for large-scale projects across the United States and Canada
- Design and simulate electrical systems for advanced hyperscale and artificial intelligence data centres
- Develop comprehensive electrical systems covering power distribution, uninterruptible power supplies, backup generators, and security infrastructure
- Produce engineering calculations, schematic diagrams, and detailed design documentation
- Generate technical specifications and design criteria to support project implementation
- Work with architects and engineering disciplines to align BIM models and resolve design clashes
- Evaluate contractor submittals and verify adherence to applicable codes and safety regulations
- Apply BIM software to digitally assemble electrical systems and coordinate with other building systems
- Oversee and coordinate engineering projects, including field supervision when required
- Perform site inspections to track construction progress and ensure design compliance
- Employ laser scanning technology to capture and validate as-built installation conditions
