Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership and functional leaders to convert data into actionable business results by addressing key questions.
- Act as a strategic analytics partner across eCommerce, Content, Advertising, and Live Events, gaining a comprehensive view of business operations and their interdependencies.
- Manage and mentor a team of three analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, business impact, rigorous analysis, and ongoing development.
- Clarify ambiguous business challenges into actionable analyses, identifying necessary data, challenging assumptions, and determining realistic conclusions.
- Leverage AI and modern analytical tools to enhance speed and effectiveness through automation, AI-assisted analysis, scripting, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities and risks by examining trends, customer behavior, business performance, and other signals within the company's ecosystem, translating findings into clear recommendations.
- Influence business strategy and priorities by helping leadership understand not only what is happening but also why and what actions to take.
- Shape the analytics roadmap by prioritizing work based on potential business impact rather than merely responding to reporting requests.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data infrastructure supports accurate, accessible, and scalable analysis, and prioritize data investments with the highest business value.
- Balance speed and rigor, determining when a quick directional answer is more valuable than a perfect analysis and when deeper investigation is needed.
- Simplify complexity by converting intricate data, business processes, and analytical findings into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for executives and cross-functional teams.
