About the Role
This role leads the development and implementation of market access strategy to support the successful launch and adoption of a new treatment. The individual will drive pricing, reimbursement, and health economics initiatives across key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive market access strategies for current and future products
- Develop health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) plans to demonstrate product value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, medical affairs, and regulatory
- Guide pricing and reimbursement strategy in the U.S. and international markets
- Engage with payers, health technology assessment bodies, and government agencies
- Oversee the development of payer-facing materials and value dossiers
- Manage external partners involved in market access research and consulting
- Translate clinical data into compelling health economic models and messaging
- Support regulatory submissions with market access insights
- Monitor evolving healthcare policies impacting product access
- Lead budget impact analyses and pricing simulations
- Ensure alignment between clinical development plans and market access requirements
- Drive patient access programs and support initiatives
- Evaluate market dynamics and competitive landscape for strategic planning
- Advise on global access strategies with regional adaptations
- Support launch readiness through access-focused planning
- Develop key performance indicators for market access success
- Represent market access in senior leadership forums
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer requirements and trends
- Coordinate input across functions to shape product value proposition
- Lead strategic discussions with external advisors and consultants
- Support investor communications related to market access potential
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations in all activities
- Mentor team members and build internal capabilities
- Oversee publication planning for health economics research
