Responsibilities
- Ensure architectural quality across all Adobe engagements in the practice, covering content, data, work management, and their integrations.
- Conduct architecture reviews that drive meaningful outcomes, establishing the rhythm and standards that make them valuable.
- Define and uphold architecture standards, reference architectures, decision records, and reusable patterns across the practice.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex design and integration challenges, stepping in personally when an engagement deviates architecturally.
- Develop an accelerator and asset library to speed up each engagement, including migration tooling, discovery frameworks, estimation models, and solution blueprints.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a distributed team of multi-solution architects specializing in content, data, and work management.
- Take full ownership of performance management and career development for your team, with the context to advocate effectively for their work.
- Mentor architects across various specializations, maintaining credibility to challenge a data architect on identity strategy and a content architect on Edge Delivery Services.
- Establish how architects work across multiple concurrent engagements without becoming overextended.
- Foster a culture where architects voluntarily set boundaries, document decisions, and feel empowered to say no.
- Lead technical solutioning for enterprise pursuits, including architecture narrative, effort estimation, staffing shape, scope definition, and the technical story.
- Collaborate with sales, client partners, and Adobe alliance leads on deal strategy.
- Translate business problems into scalable Adobe architectures and convert technical complexity into value propositions for executives.
- Build an estimation discipline that ensures credible commitments, holding the practice accountable for estimate-versus-actual accuracy.
- Integrate agentic engineering as the standard way of working for the team, not as a separate experiment.
- Create agents, sub-agents, and orchestrated workflows to accelerate discovery, solution documentation, estimation, code review, and migration, ensuring architects adopt them.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI capabilities across the Adobe stack and beyond, setting guardrails to ensure AI output is safe for client presentation.
- Mentor architects on AI-native working methods, including those who are skeptical.
