Steampunk is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing DevSecOps practice. You will deliver features supporting cloud and application development, focusing on establishing secure, automated tools and infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Establish development tools and infrastructure for automation.
- Understand stakeholder needs and convey this to developers.
- Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Test and examine code written by others and analyze results.
- Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’.
- Work with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes.
- Support enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure through infrastructure as code, automated configurations, large-scale deployments, and CI/CD monitoring.
- Document the as-is state of the environment, perform gap analysis, and produce artifacts with options and recommendations.
- Leverage virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systems.
- Act as an individual contributor and mentor team members.
What We're Looking For
- 7-10 years of experience with cloud platform services.
- 7-10 years of experience with DevSecOps practices such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and process automation.
