Dev.Pro is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the DevOps function and scale infrastructure supporting 1 million+ active users. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own the performance, reliability, and evolution of our AWS-based platform while building and mentoring a high-performing team.
What You'll Do
- Lead the DevOps function and scale infrastructure supporting 1 million+ active users
- Own the performance, reliability, and evolution of AWS-based infrastructure
- Build and mentor a high-performing DevOps team
- Make architecture decisions and perform implementation work
- Manage on-call responsibilities and incident management
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience
- Proven experience managing infrastructure for applications with millions of active users
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services, particularly Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge
- Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Deep understanding of performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting at scale
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Kubernetes knowledge and experience (EKS experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Experience with on-call responsibilities and incident management
Nice to Have
- Scripting experience with Python, Node.js, or similar languages
- Experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
- Experience with Datadog or other advanced observability platforms
- Background in cost optimization strategies for high-traffic applications
- Experience with blue/green or canary deployment strategies
- Knowledge of GitOps practices
