Clarivate is looking for a Senior Development Operations Engineer to support our A&G Content Solutions space, including ProQuest and EbookCentral. In this role, you will automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and support build and deployment processes for global products in a hybrid cloud environment.
What You'll Do
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Cloud Development Kits (CDKs) and/or scripting languages like Python.
- Interact with the lead software development organization, gathering build requirements, providing status updates, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and deployment of products and build infrastructure.
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain build and test environments in cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Partner with different teams to support application deployments into production, including refreshed existing applications and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with data center operations and technology teams to resolve tactical infrastructure issues and complete strategic projects.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 product support.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, system administration or a closely related area.
- 3 years of experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, CloudFormation).
- 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- 2 years of experience with GitHub and Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.
- 2 years of experience working with Docker containerization.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Strong UNIX/Linux command-line skills with ability to write effective bash scripts to automate procedures and workflows.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and configuration management (Terraform, Python/Ruby scripting, Chef/Ansible/Salt).
- Experience managing containerized environments, particularly ECS and EKS.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and application administration, including Datadog, CloudWatch, and Java/Apache/Tomcat environments.

You will be part of a team spread across multiple locations worldwide, collaborating closely with colleagues across Barcelona, the United States (Eastern Time Zone), and Serbia. You will report to a DevOps Engineering Manager.
