n8n is looking for a Senior Developer Advocate to be at the heart of our community. You will build relationships, create educational content, and represent community needs internally. This role leads strategy to grow and nurture a global network of automation, no code, and open source enthusiasts.
What You'll Do
- Interact daily with the community, offering advocacy, support, and education.
- Create and implement plans to build, enable, and nurture the community using events, meetups, livestreams, videos, blogs, courses, social media, and partnerships.
- Represent the community's needs internally and externally, gathering feedback and sharing with engineering, product, and marketing teams.
- Develop the network of partners, exploring collaboration and co-marketing opportunities.
- Lead two team members, a Junior Developer Advocate and a Support Engineer, with the possibility to build a bigger team long-term.
- Monitor success metrics, evaluate initiative effectiveness, and adjust effort accordingly.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years working in tech.
- 2+ years in Developer Relations.
- Experience building community across channels like Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, blogs, meetups, public speaking, and events.
- Identify as a teacher and a learner, a builder and a doer, a mentor and a communicator.
- Empathetic, inclusive, warm, enthusiastic, and get a buzz from helping people.
- Passionate about automation, no code and/or open source.

You will lead a small team consisting of a Junior Developer Advocate and a Support Engineer.
