RNRS Solutions is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to join our core TechOps team. In this role, you will blend hands-on database administration with modern infrastructure-as-code and automation practices. You will be responsible for modernizing and securing critical data environments within a technically demanding, mission-critical global organization.
What You'll Do
- Administer production PostgreSQL and MySQL databases across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Monitor performance, implement failover strategies, and manage access and security.
- Design infrastructure using Terraform and automate configurations with Ansible.
- Implement auto-failover, DNS management, and load balancing to ensure high availability.
- Work with internal product and data teams on scaling, optimization, and data migrations.
- Maintain Linux servers hosting our database environments.
- Support CI/CD practices and routine database automation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for database systems.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA, especially with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Solid Linux administration experience.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting in Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with monitoring tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of DNS, load balancing, and failover setups.
- Comfortable working independently in a globally distributed team.
- Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ClickHouse, MongoDB, MS SQL, or Redshift.
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Work experience in regulated environments, such as financial services or fintech.
- Knowledge of audit and readiness processes.
