Join Teads as a Senior Data Scientist to build and operate large-scale distributed machine learning systems that process 1 billion predictions per second during real-time auctions. You will be part of a team shaping the future of media by blending creativity, technology, and data to build advertising solutions at world scale.
What You'll Do
- Stay on top of the state-of-the-art science and technology for large-scale advertising systems.
- Work with teams of data scientists and machine learning engineers to identify investment opportunities.
- Help teams implement solutions as an advisor and as part of the implementation team on selected projects.
- Work with product managers to find data science and AI projects with the best cost/benefit and risk/reward ratios.
- Spend time experimenting with new approaches independently.
- Follow industrial and academic research, occasionally publishing at conferences.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in data science.
- Strong communication skills, working collaboratively with the team, able to teach concepts, and communicate complicated topics clearly to expert audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, deducing wider product ranges from specific problems.
- True scientist skills: a fast learner, curious, with a sense of detail and rigor.
- Experience in Statistics (statistical analysis, regression analysis) and/or Artificial Intelligence (Data Mining, Machine Learning).
- Ability to read scientific articles, analyze them critically, and implement as appropriate.
- Very mindful about your application architecture, performance, testing, maintainability, and its overall quality.
Team & Environment
The AI department currently consists of 50 people who are a mix of data scientists, machine learning, and backend engineers. The department provides technologies that power the outcomes of campaigns.
