Jobgether is hiring a Senior Data QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and integrity of the complex data systems powering our critical business processes. In this remote role, you will design robust data testing strategies, debug quality issues, and maintain automated frameworks for a rapidly growing organization.

What You'll Do

Design, implement, and maintain data test strategies and automated frameworks to ensure data reliability.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve data quality across pipelines.
Debug data quality issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with data engineers to implement solutions.
Drive adoption of best practices in data QA and promote continuous process improvements.
Serve as a subject matter expert on projects involving complex datasets, including financial information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align QA processes and ensure consistent, high-quality data delivery.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in data quality assurance, data testing, or related roles.
Expertise in Python and SQL (including Snowflake and Postgres).
Proficiency with dbt for data modeling, transformations, testing, and quality validation.
Strong knowledge of AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Lambda) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and source/version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with Apache Airflow or similar ETL workflow orchestration tools.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, with capability to influence cross-functional teams.
Self-driven, continuous learner with experience coordinating solutions across multiple teams.
