You’ll move beyond surface-level metrics to uncover the financial drivers behind business outcomes—translating data into decisions that directly influence revenue, profitability, and marketing efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Track and interpret revenue trends across channels and regions, identifying key shifts and their financial implications
- Monitor contribution margin performance, diagnosing volatility through refunds, discounting, customer acquisition costs, and channel mix
- Build models to assess true channel efficiency—factoring in refund-adjusted CAC and net contribution
- Analyze customer cohorts to evaluate long-term value, retention, and return behavior
- Guide investment decisions by evaluating when to scale, shift, or sunset marketing channels based on unit economics
- Develop and maintain forecasting models for 30/60/90-day revenue and margin projections
- Create intuitive, decision-focused dashboards that surface critical KPIs: payback windows, margin trends, and performance vs. plan
- Flag anomalies early and lead root-cause analysis on unexpected shifts in demand or performance
- Run scenario analyses for pricing changes, promotions, and operational adjustments
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional partners
What You Bring
- At least 5 years in marketing analytics or a data-intensive business role
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working in BigQuery or similar data warehouses
- Proven track record building dashboards in Looker Studio or comparable tools
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or cloud-based code agents
- Deep understanding of e-commerce metrics: CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and refund dynamics
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in English, both written and verbal
- A hypothesis-driven mindset—curious, analytical, and focused on quantifying impact
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with a strong sense of ownership
- Proactive by nature—you anticipate needs and act without waiting to be asked
