About the Role

Dandy is looking for a Senior Data Analyst II - Product to join our mission of transforming the dental industry by building the operating system for dental offices globally. In this role, you will tackle significant analytics challenges to grow recurring revenue, improve customer retention, and enhance the product experience through data-driven insights.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize data analysis to reduce ambiguity and solve complex product problems.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and share insights that drive product and revenue teams to better serve, acquire, and retain customers.
  • Define the data language, including KPIs and dashboards, to create a clear understanding of business progress.
  • Design and execute complex A/B experiments to tailor product offerings to customer needs and boost recurring revenue.
  • Facilitate rapid decision-making through ad hoc analysis and by democratizing data for self-service.
  • Actively uplevel the Data organization through mentoring other analysts.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in product analytics, ideally in a B2B setting.
  • BA/BS in a quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, engineering) with customer empathy OR BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology) with deep statistics skills.
  • Excellent SQL and Python skills.
  • Demonstrated experience turning vague business problems into statistically rigorous analyses and solutions, such as predictive modeling or causal inference.
  • Strong communication skills that inspire action and the ability to use data to inform, align, and lead.
  • Strong sense of autonomy, ownership, and velocity.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience advancing a company’s overall data capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with product data at a company like Shopify, Amazon, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, or similar.
  • Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists.
  • Experience working and learning in an earlier-stage company where foundational systems are still being developed.
  • Familiarity with generative AI concepts.
