Role Overview

A Senior Contracts Analyst is responsible for leading the evaluation, drafting, and negotiation of agreements tied to clinical trial operations and third-party vendor engagements. This role ensures all contracts align with applicable regulations, company standards, and legal requirements, while actively supporting collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine and interpret contracts, legal terms, and service agreements related to clinical research and vendor partnerships.
  • Negotiate terms with sponsors, suppliers, and external parties to safeguard organizational interests and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with project teams to assess contractual risks, recommend improvements, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Track contract progress, deliverables, and key milestones using digital contract management platforms.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract language, compliance obligations, and resolution of disputes.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related discipline. A minimum of two years of experience in contract management or administration—ideally within pharmaceuticals or clinical research—is required. Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, contract law, and clinical trial regulations is essential. The ideal candidate demonstrates sharp analytical abilities, precision in documentation, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-moving setting.

Preference may be given to applicants with an advanced degree or professional certification in contract or legal management.
