AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians) is looking for a Senior Content Management Specialist to create, edit, and publish high-quality web content. You will be integral in transitioning our main website from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to Sanity, ensuring a smooth content migration while adhering to governance standards.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and publish web content via AEM during our site redesign, ensuring format consistency, branding, and site continuity.
- Author web pages for the new website in Sanity.
- Provide feedback on design components and recommend alternate solutions using our design component library.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, meeting deadlines and deliverables with a keen eye for detail.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of three years of related work experience.
- Experience authoring content for large, enterprise-scale websites.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), WordPress, or other content management systems.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across multiple business divisions within complex organizations.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
- Strong project management, organization, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Sanity or other headless CMS platforms is strongly preferred.
- Experience with a Digital Asset Manager (DAM) for sourcing images is preferred.
