Join WSP Digital Solutions at WSP USA Inc. as a Senior Consultant - Business Analyst. In this role, you will help environmental and engineering clients adopt modern digital capabilities by translating business needs into actionable requirements and shaping the vision for new software and data products.
What You'll Do
- Leverage modern cloud, data, and application technologies to help design innovative digital solutions.
- Work with cross functional product teams, applying agile delivery methods tailored to each effort.
- Partner with solution architects and product leads to define business requirements, user stories, and design specifications.
- Support Delivery Managers by contributing to scope, schedule, and sprint planning.
- Maintain a well structured, prioritized backlog of user stories.
- Facilitate alignment on scope, priorities, and release objectives.
- Ensure development teams fully understand product vision and how features deliver client value.
- Develop detailed functional specifications to support efficient development.
- Motivate teams and support a high velocity, high quality delivery culture.
What We're Looking For
- Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of modern application technologies, data platforms, and cloud-based architectures.
- Curiosity and a willingness to experiment and learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the AEC or environmental sector.
- Strong understanding of application and database development practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with engineering and geospatial tools (e.g., Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon, Esri).
