About the Role
This role involves designing and implementing automation strategies with Ansible for financial institutions. The consultant will work directly with clients to assess infrastructure, recommend best practices, and deploy scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and security.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation projects using Ansible for enterprise clients in financial services
- Collaborate with client teams to understand infrastructure challenges and goals
- Design and deploy secure, scalable automation frameworks
- Provide technical guidance on configuration management and infrastructure as code
- Troubleshoot complex system integration issues
- Deliver on-site and remote consulting services as needed
- Conduct training sessions for client engineering teams
- Develop custom Ansible modules and playbooks tailored to client environments
- Ensure automation solutions align with compliance and regulatory standards
- Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Document technical designs and implementation plans
- Assist in pre-sales activities with proof-of-concept development
- Stay current with evolving automation technologies and financial industry trends
- Support incident resolution and post-deployment optimization
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Nice to Have
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
- Experience with other automation tools such as Puppet or Chef
- Background in fintech or banking technology systems
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with ITIL or service operations frameworks
