About the Role

As the Senior Compliance & Regulatory Manager, you will play a central role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s operations within the motor insurance space. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure full alignment with regulatory standards in both Gibraltar and the UK, with a strong emphasis on consumer duty and fair treatment of retail customers.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor evolving regulations in the insurance sector and assess their impact on current business practices
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks that support transparency, fairness, and accountability
  • Lead the creation of a Compliance Monitoring Plan to proactively identify and resolve potential risks
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, respond to audits, and serve as the main liaison with oversight authorities
  • Deliver training programs to build compliance awareness across teams and reinforce individual responsibilities
  • Advise senior leadership and the board on regulatory developments and strategic compliance implications
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to strengthen compliance culture and processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in insurance compliance, preferably within motor insurance
  • In-depth knowledge of Gibraltar’s regulatory landscape and relevant international standards
  • Established relationship with the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission
  • Proven ability to lead policy design, risk analysis, and regulatory engagement
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience guiding executive decision-making
  • Demonstrated understanding of Consumer Duty regulations in both Gibraltar and the UK
