Shape the future of communications in a high-growth market
As the Senior Communications Manager for France, you’ll establish and lead all strategic messaging and media engagement for one of the company’s fastest-growing European markets. Based in London, you will build the communications function from scratch, crafting narratives that resonate with businesses, consumers, and policymakers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy tailored to the French market
- Position the company as a recognized and trusted brand through proactive media outreach and relationship-building
- Translate complex business operations, policies, and values into clear, compelling stories for diverse audiences
- Lead real-time response during critical incidents, including high-visibility escalations and Trust & Safety challenges
- Create and maintain a strategic communications playbook to guide rapid, consistent responses across scenarios
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align messaging with product, policy, and user experience
What We’re Looking For
- At least 8 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field
- Deep familiarity with French media, cultural dynamics, and regulatory environment
- Fluency in both French and English, with exceptional writing and speaking abilities
- Proven success in managing crisis communications and sensitive policy issues
- Ability to operate independently in fast-moving, uncertain environments
- Strong initiative and hands-on mindset—comfortable doing foundational work and adapting quickly
- Skill in balancing community interests with business goals, especially in two-sided platforms
- Experience crafting messages for both earned and owned channels
