Hexagon is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and implement scalable cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure, migrate on-premises applications, and automate deployment processes. You will join a growing company with a dynamic, international team.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures based on Microsoft Azure.
- Migrate existing on-premises applications to Microsoft Azure using containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment processes.
- Collaborate with global development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practice guides.
- Work in an international and multidisciplinary team operating at various locations worldwide.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in computer science, geoinformatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and containerization.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible & Terraform.
- Scripting experience, especially with Python, for automation and data processing.
- Analytical thinking, initiative, and strong teamwork skills.
- An independent, team-oriented, and solution-oriented personality with strong customer orientation.
- Very good German and English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with tools for processing geodata and databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience in the administration of on-premises server infrastructures.
