Applied Underwriters is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster specializing in Architects & Engineers Liability claims. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of complex professional liability matters.
What You'll Do
- Investigate, analyze, and evaluate professional liability claims involving architects and engineers.
- Determine coverage, liability, and damages based on policy terms and investigation findings.
- Develop and execute strategic action plans for claim resolution, including negotiation and settlement.
- Maintain accurate and thorough claim file documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience handling professional liability claims, with a focus on Architects & Engineers or similar coverage.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of claims investigation, coverage analysis, and resolution strategies.
- Proven ability to manage a pending caseload independently and efficiently.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Relevant state adjuster licenses or the ability to obtain them.
