Hydro-Québec is hiring a Senior Business Development Representative to lead the outreach plan for its Research Centre (CRHQ) and develop strategic innovation partnerships to maximize impact and value creation. What You'll Do
- Act as Hydro-Québec's representative to various clients in new market development.
- Provide expertise, specialized support, and develop strategies to optimize and achieve objectives.
- Conduct varied prospecting, outreach, and solicitation activities to increase sales and company profitability.
- Develop and maintain commercial relationships required for growth strategy execution.
- Negotiate and implement commercial agreements on behalf of Hydro-Québec for business development projects.
- Research and evaluate the value of various commercial opportunities and proposed agreements and provide recommendations.
- Implement a business development management strategy.
- Promote all programs and commercial options for potential clients.
- Coordinate and lead the integration of other company units required for the development and implementation of pursued commercial opportunities.
- Train, advise, support, and coordinate team members.
What We're Looking For
- A university undergraduate degree (BAC) in Business Administration, Law, Marketing, or any other relevant discipline.
- 6 to under 9 years of experience in strategic partnership development and outreach activities, ideally in an innovation or R&D context.
- Valid Class 5 Quebec driver's license.
- Appropriate knowledge of the French language for the function.
- Good knowledge of English, spoken and written, as you must frequently communicate with partners outside Quebec who speak a language other than French.
