About the Role

Nomura is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to serve as a critical partner in the firm's digital transformation. In this role, you will function as a Junior Digital Solutions Officer (DSO) for the NAMI investment platform, providing essential leverage and strategic support to investment teams.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive intake documentation and analysis of investment requests and technology requirements.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders on solution design and implementation approaches.
  • Facilitate the design and development of innovative investment solutions across multiple asset classes.
  • Lead project management for technology implementations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary communication liaison between investment teams and technology/operations groups.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and change management processes.
  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into actionable technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of investment platform enhancements.
  • Support business continuity planning and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a senior-level business analyst in investment or financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Expertise in acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Strong background in project management for technology and process improvements.
  • Experience facilitating digital transformation and change management.
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
