SRG Global Mining Services is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role within RACV’s Program Management and Digital functions. Reporting to the BA Practice Team Leader, you will work across Agile, Scrum-based squads and project environments on initiatives ranging from straightforward enhancements to complex, enterprise-wide transformations, with a key focus on replacing core systems for the RACV Leisure division.
What You'll Do
- Lead the BA workstream within the project and manage the workload of Business Analysts.
- Provide scope management and hands‑on delivery using established methodologies and toolsets.
- Manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts within a project, ensuring quality outputs and alignment to timelines.
- Plan and govern BA scope across multiple workstreams, providing structured cross‑team planning and coordinating delivery sequencing.
- Deliver high-quality analysis artefacts by leading scoping, planning, analysis, and documentation.
- Design and document use cases, user journeys, and functional behaviors.
- Contribute to shaping the delivery roadmap, aligning with business priorities and strategic outcomes.
- Document business processes, rules, requirements, benefits, dependencies, and risks.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog grooming, options analysis, and benefits realisation.
- Produce high-quality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with UX principles.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and facilitate workshops and Refinement Sessions.
- Map and document current‑state and future‑state business processes, workflows, and digital experiences.
- Analyse business rules, dependencies, risks, and benefits associated with proposed changes.
- Engage stakeholders across RACV (risk, compliance, legal, operations) to ensure alignment.
- Work with support teams to create user guides, training materials, and transition documentation.
- Support knowledge transfer and share insights with the BA Practice.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst with end-to-end project delivery.
- 2+ years experience as a lead Business Analyst in a large-scale implementation project.
- Strong knowledge of BA methodology and best practices.
- Experience planning and governing BA scope across multiple workstreams and coordinating cross‑team delivery.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of Business Analysts within a project.
- Experience delivering high-quality analysis artefacts through lead scoping, planning, and documentation.
- Tertiary degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Office 365, Visio, Figma, Miro, Google or Adobe Analytics, and draw.io.
- Exposure to a range of initiatives in regulated, service-driven environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external offshore vendor teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in member-based or customer-facing organisations.
- Experience in hospitality or leisure industry systems, ideally PMS platforms.
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), CMS platforms, and API documentation.
