Join bunch as a (Senior) Backend Engineer and be at the core of building the technology that powers our business and transforms the private markets industry. You will have the freedom and ownership to build the right solutions and directly influence the product roadmap.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services that solve real customer problems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers by actively participating in problem discovery and solution creation, leveraging your technical expertise.
• Work closely with other cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth delivery of new features and improvements.
• Maximize your team’s output by enhancing functionality, proactively addressing technical debt, and actively contributing to improving collaboration and communication.

What We're Looking For

• A combination of passion for technology with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in backend development with TypeScript or any strongly typed language.
• Proficient with SQL databases.
• Proficient with Nest.js or similar web/dependency management frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core).
• Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance tuning.
• 3+ years of professional experience building backend systems in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing.

Technical Stack

• TypeScript, Svelte (Frontend), Node.js (Backend), Nest.js, MySQL, Kubernetes (K8S), AWS, GitHub, FusionAuth, Retool, Twilio, SendGrid, Tally

Team & Environment

You will be part of the Product Development team, working closely with cross-functional teams and reporting to the Engineering Manager and VP of Engineering.
