EX Squared is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our remote team. You will be a key contributor in architecting and implementing high-performance backend services.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications
- Lead the implementation of complex features and system integrations
- Optimize application performance and ensure system security and data integrity
- Mentor other engineers and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development
- Proven expertise in designing and building distributed, high-availability systems
- Deep knowledge of modern backend languages and frameworks
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and database design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position operating on a global scale. The role is specifically aligned with our work and client needs in Finland.
