EX Squared is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to build and maintain high-performance server-side applications. You will collaborate with a global, distributed team to solve complex technical challenges.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and system failures
- Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making
- Mentor other developers and promote best practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Proficiency in at least one major backend language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#)
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases and SQL
- Strong understanding of API design principles and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Fluency in English for professional communication
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position operating on a global scale. The role is specifically open to candidates residing in Austria.
