LITIT is looking for a Senior PHP Developer based in Pakistan to join our team. You will support our client on AI-driven application projects, focusing on backend development and integrating modern AI platforms, especially voice-enabled solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using PHP frameworks including Laravel, CodeIgniter, and WordPress.
- Lead AI integrations into web applications, using APIs from platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Bland, Retell, and ElevenLabs.
- Implement and optimize voice-based AI applications, focusing on functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, data flow, and AI implementation strategies.
- Customize and maintain CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal as needed.
- Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs, ensuring best practices in authentication, validation, and performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
- Participate in technical discussions with client stakeholders, clearly explaining solutions in English.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of professional PHP development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Laravel.
- Experience with WordPress development, including custom themes or plugins.
- Working knowledge of CodeIgniter and Drupal.
- Proven experience integrating AI APIs, especially LLM-based platforms.
- Experience building or integrating voice-enabled applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment with U.S.-based teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks or JavaScript-based stacks.
- Prior experience working in client-facing consulting environments.
