Jobgether is hiring a Senior Back-End Engineer to join our team. You will design, build, and maintain the scalable systems that power our leading fintech platform. In this key role, you will safeguard business logic, manage critical integrations, and drive continuous product evolution with full autonomy to design solutions and optimize performance.

What You'll Do

Design and implement efficient, maintainable, and scalable backend solutions while ensuring adherence to best engineering practices.
Participate in architectural discussions, define non-functional requirements, and propose new tools or frameworks to enhance productivity.
Develop metrics, alerts, and system dashboards using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, and New Relic.
Lead and participate in technical refinements, code reviews, and task-force planning for complex initiatives.
Create and maintain backend services, APIs, integration tests, unit tests, and SQL queries.
Support operational teams by monitoring system performance, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring service reliability.
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to gather and refine business requirements, document features, and propose improvements.
Analyze large volumes of data and logs to detect, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Provide technical training and mentorship to new and existing team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience with Java and deep understanding of software engineering principles.
Solid knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving mindset, and focus on delivering solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate with remote and international teams.
Clear and objective communicator, comfortable participating in technical discussions in English (fluency not required).

Nice to Have

Experience with system monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and data analysis is a plus.
