NICE Ltd. is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of our enterprise product functionality. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, collaborating closely with the team to deliver a high-quality product.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python and Shell.
- Automate deployment testing, build tools, and improve testing frameworks.
- Debug and identify software issues post-deployment.
- Review defects logged by the team and assign them to the appropriate owner.
- Estimate and commit task-level effort, delivering activities on time.
- Test and develop a wide range of tools and applications, including AWS command-line interfaces, CI/CD systems, and frameworks.
- Work in an Agile environment, using critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bug reports, prioritize tests, and manage daily status reports.
- Clearly communicate technical problems to software teams and management in a collaborative environment.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services: EC2, ASG, ECS, Load Balancer, and CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Shell scripting, Python, JavaScript, J-Meter, Postman, and Playwright.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Github, Gitlab).
- Strong Linux knowledge (Mandatory).
- 2+ years of experience in API testing.
- Ability to automate and test within CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Advanced CI/CD automation ability.
- Knowledge of CloudWatch Synthetics Canary.
- Knowledge of VOIP/SIP.
