MyFlorida’s Department of Management Services is hiring a Senior Attorney for Children’s Legal Services. In this role, you will advocate directly for the safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children. You will have primary responsibility for a caseload of dependency proceedings.
What You'll Do
- Advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of dependent children in Chapter 39 proceedings.
- Ensure Florida and federal legal requirements are met to secure permanent and safe homes for children.
- Collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence and prepare witnesses for trial.
- Employ best practice litigation techniques for pleadings and trial presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of bar admission.

You’ll join a team of more than 300 attorneys within Children’s Legal Services, part of the Department of Children and Families.
