WTW is looking for a Senior Associate to manage sophisticated Absence, Disability Management and Life (ADML) projects for large, complex clients. You'll serve as the pivotal point on all projects, designing and managing group disability and broader disability management programs while working with industry experts, positioning you for a senior relationship management or leadership role.
What You'll Do
- Provide consulting expertise on large, sophisticated ADML projects involving short- and long-term disability benefits, leave programs, paid time-off, and life insurance.
- Lead sample projects including ADML benefit plan analysis, design, cost savings strategies, vendor procurement, and performance audits.
- Serve as project manager and day-to-day client contact; contribute to project plan creation and lead team delivery.
- Ensure progress against established objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Complete and master analytical work.
- Contribute to the development of new intellectual capital.
- Participate in new business activities.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in the design/management of large group disability plans gained in a consulting, brokerage, carrier, or vendor environment.
- Proven experience creating project plans and successfully leading teams in execution.
- Demonstrated success in managing client issues and relationships.
- Polished oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong analytical, creative and integrative skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Availability to travel at least 15% (mainly day travel).
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with significant quantitative coursework.
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
Nice to Have
- Strong financial skills; prior experience in group disability underwriting or claims management strongly preferred.
- Experience in training/mentoring junior staff.

- Annual salary range: $100,000-$135,000 USD
