Ticketmaster is hiring a Senior Android/Kotlin Engineer to shape our mobile applications, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will design, develop, and maintain top-tier Android applications that align with business goals and technical standards.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain top-tier Android applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless feature integration and a cohesive user experience.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and bring multi-year plans with cryptographic innovations and next-generation biometrics to life.
- Follow best practices, tackle complex challenges, and execute deliverables aligned with creating a secure, passwordless digital ecosystem.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience developing robust Android applications using Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of coroutines and lifecycle-aware components.
- Proficient in Jetpack Compose for building intuitive and scalable UIs.
- Hands-on experience using Android frameworks like CameraX for real-time image processing and advanced camera functionalities.
- Skilled in implementing scalable and testable applications following MVVM architecture and clean code principles.
- Capable of extending Android functionality and optimizing performance by integrating native code through Java Native Interface (JNI) and C/C++.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the NFC space, particularly around contactless interactions and secure data exchange.
