Jobgether is looking for a Senior Java/Kotlin Developer to join our team. In this fully remote role based in France, you will take full ownership of features across the entire development lifecycle, from conception to production deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions that align with user needs and business goals, directly impacting our core product.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end development of features, ensuring high-quality delivery from design to production.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, maintain clean code, and implement best practices.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and share knowledge across the team.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and testing frameworks.
- Proactively propose improvements to systems, workflows, and product functionality.
- Balance speed and quality to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Prior experience in a product-oriented company (SaaS, marketplace, fintech, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin, with experience in backend architecture, APIs, and data models.
- Product-minded approach: ability to understand the 'why' behind features and contribute beyond coding.
- Proficient with modern architecture, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring practices.
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt methods to context, and own feature delivery end-to-end.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills for collaborative international teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with frontend frameworks (TypeScript, Vue.js, Nuxt).
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Kubernetes).
- Experience with data tools (BigQuery, Spark, Python).
